December 10, 2022: We packed up a box of Christmas goodies for the students in Selpele village and joined them for their Christmas concert
April 27, 2022: Distribution #30! 100 notebooks and 100 pencils for Salio Village.
March 22, 2022: We have a visit from friends in Bali so we delivered 100 notebooks to the school in Selpele Village and some souvenirs for the teachers.

December 2021: We haven't been actively seeking donations or book shopping this year so to celebrate Christmas we sent cash bonuses to our teachers in Selpele and Salio so they still feel supported.

December 24, 2020: We celebrated Christmas by delivering Santa Sacks full of activity books to our friends in Selpele + Salio Villages.

November 5, 2019: We pick up Toothbrushes from Zero Waste Bali’s Canggu Store ready to send to villages in West Waigeo, Raja Ampat, West Papua.
October 4, 2019: This weeks Ocean Warriors Beach School Program had us focusing on sorting trash with the students in Selpele Village.

September 27, 2019: As Part of our Ocean Warriors Beach school Program we talk to the kids about saying no to Plastic Bags. We read "The Turtle and the Plastic Bag" and make origami puppets of the characters". See pictures of the class HERE.

September 19, 2019: We launch a new fundraising campaign to get bamboo toothbrushes to our students in Selpele + Salio village, Raja Ampat. Read about the campaign HERE.

August 17, 2019: We host a massive book sale. All proceeds will be used to purchase
activity books for schools in Raja Ampat.

July 12, 2019: We pack up more boxes for Carries Library at
Yenbuba Village in Raja Ampat, and our Trash Hero Komodo project in
Flores. Out tally, to date, is 3420
books across 8 different library projects.
July 1, 2019: A boat arrives in Raja Ampat and more books are on board. The Sea Cat is exhausted after all the unpacking.
June 19, 2019: English Lessons start at the Atlas Pearls farm in Raja Ampat and we donate notebooks + English resources to the program.
June 3, 2019: Another donation of books, pencils + colouring books from my wonderful parents when the visit West Waigeo, Raja Ampat.
May 17, 2019: We join Atlas Pearls and the students of Selpele Village School for their Ocean Warriors Beach School. We clean the beach and donate a copy of "Cenderawasih Burung Tercantik" to the Beach School Library. See more HERE

November 12, 2018: Ocean Warriors Plastic in Paradise goes out to the Atlas Pearls remote farm sites for their education programs in village communities.
October 20,2018: We take a stack of colouring books, by request, to our first library project at Salio Village.
October 16, 2018: We use a donation from Wingham Highschool to buy Library books, activity books and Notebooks for Child Aid Papua. Thank you Wingham High!

August 3, 2018: Guests on board Silver Tip Yacht pick up a few copies of Ocean Warriors Plastic in Paradise to distribute at nearby Arefi village.

March 14, 2018: Guests on board Salila Liveaboard came with a BIG care package. Hundreds of notebooks, pens and pencils and a big box of sporting equipment!

Here we have 12 notebooks, 41 activity books and 25 library books. 78 books in total, which brings us up to 1500 books since starting this project! What a milestone.

November 2015: I visited a school in West Papua with no resources. I asked the teachers how I could help and they asked for book. The wheels were set in motion.
